DocuGuardian, Inc. (“DocuGuardian”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is committed to protecting the privacy of all individuals who interact with our Services. DocuGuardian currently processes your personal information on computer servers that are located within the United States. IF YOU ARE LOCATED OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES AND CHOOSE TO PROVIDE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION TO US THROUGH THE SERVICES OR BY ANY OTHER MEANS, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND EXPRESSLY CONSENT TO OUR PROCESSING OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION IN THE UNITED SATES.

DocuGuardian takes all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your personal information is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If we ever elect to process your personal information on computer servers located in another jurisdiction, we will update this section of the policy and notify you of this update by posting the updated policy through the Services or emailing you at the email address associated with your DocuGuardian account, if any. In any event, DocuGuardian will not transfer your personal information to any jurisdiction or any entity unless there are adequate controls in place including for the security of your personal information.

5. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected or as required by law. When data is no longer necessary, we securely delete or anonymize it.

6. Jurisdiction-Specific Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, you may have certain privacy rights under applicable state, federal, or international privacy laws.  If or when we determine that such jurisdiction-specific privacy rights become applicable to the Services, we will provide any required notices under such laws either directly in communications with you or through updates to this section of the Privacy Policy.
